hello! it's my turn for papertrey ink make it monday this week and i decided to have a little fun with watercolors again. watercolor resist with rubber cement fun, specifically...
inspired by these rubber cement resist dyed eggs, i decided to replicate the look with watercolors on watercolor paper. the paper can then be die cut like on the balloon card above - so fun!
or used as a panel or layer - a perfect backdrop to this white butterfly!
if it doesn't turn out perfectly, don't throw it away - just cut smaller pieces for eye catching accents!
and when you find a color way you like, repeat it and refine it. dude, this watercolor technique rocks! check out the video to see how it's done...
then get your glue on and link up on nichole's blog. i can't wait to see what you create!
happy stamping!
