good morning! it's my turn again for papertrey ink's make it monday video series. this time, i'm sharing one of my favorite stamping layout techniques and i'm calling it focal clusters.
here's an earlier card that led to the video. it's a layout technique i go to often when a new stamp arrives or i'm in the mood to play. i piece images and sentiments together, kind of like a puzzle, to create a larger cohesive visual image. the result is like a streamlined collage.
the often colorful groupings are perfect for many clean and simple layouts (also my go to!) because typically the end result is graphic and can hold it's own in a sea of white space.
but you're not limited to clean and simple. they can work well on more involved layout as well!
