today's papertrey ink anniversary announcement from nichole will leave many customers jumping for joy, myself included. maile is back designing stamps! i love her style and have several of her sets in my collection, so i thought i'd flash back to a few cards i created with them. first up, background basics: chevron stripes, a great set that can be used in so many ways. as a patterned focal piece, like in the two examples above (original post: may 30, 2011)...

more recently, i fell equally as hard for watercolor wonder - i just love the paint strokes and splats. it was the perfect stamp set to recreate a postage stamp from the '80s into a card for stamp-a-faire! (original post: august 25, 2014)
