with mardi gras behind us, and the rest of the week off from school, i've been eager to get into my studio and create. so i took a few minutes to stamp a card in honor of chinese new year today. i knew right away that i wanted to use wet paint and simple alphabet for the sentiment, but i had to dig a little deeper for images. the chinese calligraphy is vintage stampin' up! the dragon, from my a muse days.
a little ink pad smooshing + peerless watercoloring + perfect pearls = one happy stamper!
