welcome to day three of the countdown to new papertrey ink stamps, including my new set give me a hand. i pulled out the hand dies to showcase today and ended up focusing on die cuts of the plain hands. i have so many ideas for those two! first up, a very girly arm and hand waving hey! a perfect hello sentiment for the teen set since they text it so much - why not write it too?!
next, i really wanted the hand to hold something and immediately thought of some money confetti i have in my stash. i snipped a little more closely between each of the fingers and thumb before attaching the money - this way the fingers have more definition and you can see the money through them. at minimum, the cut at the thumb helps the money slide into place. and there's another sleeve option featured, too. while there are dies for all of the sleeves, i tend to hand cut the ones that have straight edges like this one. i can't wait to make this card in lots of fun colors - add a pocket for some cash and you have an instant gift!
and last, a hand ready for high five - don't leave it hanging!! this time, the colors are gender neutral, and high five can be used for a variety of occasions. add a sentiment to the inside when you need a card and you'll be good to go - congrats, you did it, happy birthday, etc! today's projects remind me of another "image in my world" that led to this stamp set: my first grade students, hands waving in the air, dying to be called on! and now i call on you to click over to nichole for the monthly moments group post and links - lizzie and melissa have posts up as well. and if you missed my late post yesterday, be sure to go back and check out those cards too!
happy stamp surfing...
