welcome back to day two of the countdown to the papertrey ink august release, and another look at my new set, haunted borders, available on august 15. today, i have jack o' lanterns to add to the border line up. first up, jacks in orange with accents in black - clean, simple and classic halloween. these borders really are perfect for quick and easy!
for the next design, i decided to use both the ghost and jack o' lantern borders stamped on their respective die cuts. anchored under the yellow circle cut flush to the side edge of the card, the images pop against the grey with the white border of the die cuts. the sentiment, from keep it simple: halloween (also new), was selectively stamped on two lines instead of one. while it's a little more involved in execution, the end result is still perfectly clean and simple.
and last, another card featuring the ghost border, die cut and stamped in black on white, so that it pops against the traditional orange and black. the black and white washi tape adds a bit of pattern and interest to the mix. with all those ghosts, it's the perfect card to add to a boo'ing treat! two borders down, three to go - come back tomorrow for more! until then, be sure to check in with nichole's blog to see what else is on the way plus the blogs of maile, laura, and ashley, who are showing it all off - ashley's featuring haunted borders and i've spied it on other's projects, too! dawn, erin, heather, and lizzie are all sharing their new product as well...
happy haunting!
