today's the big day - did you vote? i did and got lucky with no line at our precinct table smack dab in the middle of a web of lines to every other table. now we watch and wait. a couple of tuesdays ago, there was another election day that was big news around here, too. my eighth grader decided to run for student council secretary. maybe not as big news as president, but i was so excited she wanted to run and we had lots of fun with it. we made flyers and stickers and had pencils printed. and when the votes were counted, she won!
