wednesday seems to have become "take time to stamp" day, thanks to the cas-ual fridays blog. the challenge this week is a clean and simple sketch and i took the opportunity to play with my growing collection of washi tape. love the stuff! this set of three from lotta jansdotter provided my color scheme (coincidentally, these are also the colors of my throw pillows!) and the perfect backdrop to the simple overlapping squares of the sketch. while i like to interpret sketches pretty closely, i also wanted the squares of this one to have some added interest. enter modern basics from pti and my corner rounder. like last week, this card came together really quickly from start to finish. clean and simple, quick and easy - my kind of card!
