sporadic summer posting continues! hanging out with the kids has kept me from blogging more than i intended this summer, but i'm still here designing and printing away as usual, working on various crafty projects. the girls are finally off at camp, so i'm enjoying a little more time to get things done. of course, packing the trunks took over for a couple of weeks as it always does and this is one result. the girls weren't particularly excited about this year's dance night themes at first. fiesta and jerseys just didn't grab their attention. we had jerseys covered - everyone in new orleans owns a saints jersey! in the end, fiesta turned out to be fun, too. we found a few cute accesories at party city and i sewed a simple poncho to go with them. it's hot in texas, so i thought a lightweight thin cotton was better than a blanket or synthetic polyester - and it was quick and easy, too!!
