after most away vacations, i get home needing to catch up on work and life, so it's taken me an extra week to get back to posting. with graduation season looming, i thought i'd share a graduation invitation i created in december, but hadn't shared yet. the request was for something simple and somewhat traditional, to include colors and possibly images of the school. i love simple! after creating the invite, i was inspired to create a personalized thank you note to match.
the invitation actually started off even simpler, with only the hat and the year. and since i often give two choices in the first round of working with someone when they aren't exactly sure what they're looking for, i created the circles in the same color scheme. in the end, she really wanted the school graphics, but both of these would look great in any school colors, don't you think?
