at some point this summer, colleen discovered the idea of rag rolling. it's such an easy project that i couldn't resist helping her test it out. the results were amazing--she has somewhat curly/wavy hair already, but sleeping with her hair rolled up in rags really took the curl to a whole new level! and it stayed curly, too. we have so much technology in our house (hello, computer teacher, graphic designer, apple lover here!) that it was really fun to do something so old-fashioned! she loved it so much that i'm sure i'll be getting the same request often--in fact she's sleeping in the rags tonight since tomorrow is the first day of school. she also asks for flat ironed hair a lot, too. because as she says, "a girl's allowed to change her personality, mom!"
