i'm back with a little more a muse inspiration for spring!  a little late, but i'm still on parade time!  today is all about the kids, so mb bunny girl and mb bunny boy were the perfect choice--such a cute pair of best bunnies!  don't forget to check out the muses' blogs for more inspiring projects!  and definitely stop by the a muse news--there's mention of a new product and giveaways, too!!

bunny bonanza :: days 1 & 2

despite the snow and bitter cold all over the country, a muse is thinking spring with bunny bonanza, a focus on some of the cutest easter and spring images and papers from the a muse line up.  i managed to stamp up a few extra cards last week so i could still play along here during the hectic mardi gras parade season.  i couldn't plan for the postponed muses parades and two days of luncheons that happened as a result--so here i am with day one and day two in the same post.  yesterday's focus was busy bunnies.  you'll find 'em hopping around the a muse store, selling, farming, and driving carrots!  i have always loved carrot car--so cute and so much fun to color.  beep, beep!

day two is all about chicks & eggs.  i love adding image stamps to the a muse sentiments for a creative focal pairing.  for this card, i inked up only two eggs in the egg line and added them to the eggstravaganza sentiment--the space is the perfect little perch for them!  and did you notice the new paper color, heather?  such a pretty shade of purple!  so forget the snow & head to the a muse news and the muses' blogs over the next few days for more inspiring ideas for easter & spring...

shoe la la!

i had a great time glittering and glamming shoes for my ride on muses this year!  if you live in new orleans, you know that we were postponed until tonight because of the weather.  except for the fact that both david and i will be on floats on the same night, i'm still excited to be riding.  and tonight i'll only be cold, not wet & cold--as long as the rain stops when they say it will!  the picture above is my pretty pic of the first four shoes i glittered.  here is another shot of all of them...

the girlies and i went crazy with glitter and trim in the dining room and this is the result--along with glitter all over the floor!  we had so much fun creating them, but not enough time to do as many as we'd hoped!  there are 14 total and while i don't have enough for everyone, i will throw you something fun if you see me--last float of the whole night, neutral ground side, second on the bottom--it pays to stay 'til the bitter end!!

a timely new valentine design!  these are for my nephews to give out to their classes at school.  my girls want me to make similar ones for them, too.  usually we do something a little more hand made and elaborate, but these are just too perfect after the super bowl win!!

when we finally got there!  this was taken somewhere near the old absinthe house, i think--bourbon & bienville was as far as we got and my iphone was the only camera i had.  it was definitely a sight to see!

black & gold super bowl!!

this was the last float of a mardi gras parade today--and the best one, too!!  sorry i've been m.i.a., but there are too many distractions lately, along with deadlines.  i hope to be back more regularly once mardi gras is over.  this weekend was the first weekend of parades, but right now it's really all about the saints in the super bowl...
