i did so well posting last week, but got buried under work again this week! i've created so much over the last few months, but just can't seem to get things photographed or downloaded in order to post them properly and regularly, but i'm trying. this cake is from a few weeks ago and easily became one of my all time favorites. i have always loved dr. seuss, so this was a lot of fun to create. here's a side view...
i wish my hand had been a little steadier on placing the letters! and the camera always highlights every little flaw that you don't necessarily notice in person. i'll never make a cake show!!
the real books were perfect party decorations...
along with a welcome sign for the door!
