here's another owl card to bridge the gap between my halloween cards and christmas cards over at the a muse news blog. when i picked my guest designer stamps, i chose the owl with the owl-witch-broom design in mind--plus i think it's cute! and since owls are "in" right now, i also wanted to use it to create some cute generic fall cards. this one fits that bill--with yoo-hoo! on the outside, this card could work for several different occasions. it would be great for a basic hello card as is, or i can finish it off inside with happy birthday or lets get together. i love having cards like this in my stash! stamps, paper and ribbon are all a muse except for the "moon" (su! barely banana) and sentiment (karen foster snap stamps). the owl and branch are stamped and colored directly on the moon, which is chalked around the edges with golden yellow shimmer chalks for depth and interest. i love shimmer!
