here's the salvaged pink sofa from my smudged original lazy day card last week. pink and black were calling my name, so that's where i took it! i also wanted to use ribbon and submit it for a*muse*a*palooza challenge 9--ribbon fun! originally i was looking for a mix of black and white ribbons to tie together, but i kept coming back to this zebra print paper curling ribbon--a scrap from my wrapping stash. i like the contrast and layering of the two patterns. plus the zebra print, along with the shimmery pink chalked sofa and the fuzzy pink flocked pillows, give the "room" a rockin' edge!
i'm still dealing with computer issues. most of my data was retrieved and put back on an erased hard drive. but i'm having trouble reinstalling my software and my awesome font collection is missing at the moment. so please be patient with me as i straddle two computers to get things done. i have an external hard drive on the way for future problems, but i can't wait 'til this one is all worked out!
