dominoes are such a cute small canvas to stamp on and make great necklaces! this design was created for my husband to give as mardi gras ball favors one year and were so well-liked that i've made them as hostess-friend-teacher gifts many times since. first, i sanded the dominoes lightly and chalked them with purple, green and yellow going from the outside in to the center. then i stamped the images with stazon inks, adding gold paint pen accents on the crown and between the circle "beads" when dry. i finished the edges off with a krylon gold leafing pen and sealed with a gloss sealer. organdy ribbon and floating beads are the final touch for a necklace to tie on at different lengths.
